POSITION TITLE: Operations Manager

PROGRAM: GADOL Adult Day Program

SUPERVISOR: Director of Adult Services

FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Exempt / Full-time / Salary

 

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Operations Manager is responsible for the Intake of new Team Members and Onboarding and training of new hires for the Adult Services program. This will include the physical compliance of the building and administrative duties which include budgeting and billing for the program. The Operations Manager will demonstrate and promote a strong work ethic, solution-oriented thinking, practices to ensure compliance and quality programming for our participants which support the mission and values of Keshet.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administrative Duties:

  • Oversee the planning, implementation and evaluation of the Day Program ensuring alignment with organizational goals and Team Members’ needs.
  • Hire and supervise QIDP and administrative support staff
  • Complete annual performance reviews for all direct reports
  • Ensure data and documentation are completed accurately and timely (i.e., progress towards goals, behavior support plans and monthly QIDP summaries)
  • Supervise the QIDP to ensure individual’s records are kept current and complete
  • Represent the program as a member of the Human Rights Committee
  • Comply with all internal and state regulations, including participation in all inspections, investigations, surveys and audits
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager and Director of Adult Services with planning and leading staff development activities.

 

Staff Relations:

  • Lead regular staff meetings
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, solution-oriented thinking, open mindedness, active listening, good judgment, decisiveness, accountability and strategic thought
  • Communicate expectations clearly and maintain a high level of accountability
  • Participate in the hiring, training and onboarding of new employees
  • Approve staff timecards for payroll

 

OPERATIONS SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement Safety protocol to protect staff and team members
  • Manage Program budget
  • Provide direct services as needed
  • Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations for day programs
  • Adhere to all Keshet policies and procedures
  • Additional responsibilities as needed and assigned by Director, e.g. committee participation, in-service training for the agency, attendance at special meetings, etc.
  • Ensure that new intakes have provided all the necessary intake paperwork, funding information and ensure a meaningful transition schedule.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in social services, human services, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • At least 2 years of general management and supervisory experience
  • State of Illinois Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP)
  • Valid IL driver's license and safe driving record
