SUPERVISOR:   Chief Program Officer

JOB STATUS: FT / Salary / Exempt

WAGES: $110,000 - $125,000 annual salary plus a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement plan.

 

 

 

POSITION SUMMARY:  Reporting to the CPO, the Director of Adult Services will be responsible for the program’s strategy, planning, cross-functional integration between the program areas, and development of evaluation and learning tools and processes consistent with Keshet’s strategic framework and core values. The Director of Adult Services will initially develop deep knowledge of program operations, and will focus on program leadership and management.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Program Leadership & Management

  • Lead, coach, develop, and retain Keshet’s high-performance adult program management team for the residential and community day service; empowering them to elevate their level of responsibility, span of control, and performance.
  • Foster a culture that promotes teamwork and professional growth while establishing clear performance standards.
  • Work with staff to develop systems to ensure consistent, high-quality project management.
  • Develop cohesive teamwork with our Adult Day Programs and our Adult Residential Programs to create the best client experience.
  • Identify opportunities for Keshet Nonprofit to leverage cross-program strengths to take advantage of new opportunities and/or to address program challenges.
  • Ability to prioritize and communicate to staff key the objectives and tactics necessary to achieve Adult Programming goals.
  • Execution of both programs’ growth and sustainability.
  • Unwavering commitment to quality programs and data-driven program evaluation.
  • Oversee compliance and all state audits.
  • Identify and evaluate the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to mitigate the risks working with CEO, CPO, CFO, HR, Quality Assurance and any other relevant supervisory staff.
  • Work with CFO to develop an annual budget and operating plan to support the program
  • Work with CFO and finance team to ensure that all financial records for the program are up to date
  • Liaise with other Program Directors to ensure the effective and efficient program delivery
  • Meet weekly with Program Managers and Adult Service Team.

 

Community Role Model

  • Maintain and grow community partnerships.
  • Represent Keshet on external committees related to the disabilities community.
  • Represent Keshet as an expert in inclusion to the public and constituent agencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Minimum four years of director level management required
  • Expertise of disability services
  • Leadership and analytical skills
  • Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible, and innovative approach to operational management.
  • Possess passion, humility, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and ability to self-direct.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with information technology.
  • A criminal and motor vehicle record which meets company standards.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
