As one of the nation’s largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions is expanding their staff and seeking a Low Voltage Superintendent to join the Houston team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Low Voltage Superintendent will be responsible for on-site supervision and management of Commercial, Industrial, Institutional, and Healthcare projects. A successful Project Superintendent delivers projects on time, and within the planned project budget.
Low Voltage Superintendent will:
- Be the main contact for Field Techs and all subcontractors on site.
- Deliver a completed safe and quality project on time
- Oversee and report on daily construction site operations and activities
- Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines
- Schedule and coordinate delivery and installation of all materials and equipment
- Exhibit a strong sense of care and concern for client's job site and personal property at the site (i.e. cover the client’s artwork for protection, close windows, and lock doors at night)
- Plan and manage all labor seamlessly together for assigned project
- Maintain the flow of information among subcontractors and the internal project team for each client job site
- Ensure consistent communication is kept with client
- Includes an agenda covering project logistics, safety, schedule, communications, action items, meeting notes, all project process-related inspections, and the scheduling of such with town/state authorities (i.e. Building Department, Fire Marshal, trade permits, Cert of Occ).
