Position Purpose

The Quality Manager leads quality improvement initiatives and program reporting compliance efforts at RMHS. The Quality Manager ensures compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Manager will oversee a team of analysts charged with supporting a high-performing organization through analysis, design, and implementation of reports to businesses processes. The Quality Manager will work directly with teams across the organization to implement effective policies and procedures, develop and implement systems to monitor performance and coordinate quality improvement initiatives. This role oversees a team that establishes and trains on data collection processes and performance improvement activities while identifying change needs, assessing the impact of the change, capturing and documenting requirements. The team is involved from initial concept through implementation, including data collection and analysis through to performance and quality improvement. This role works closely with program and administrative leadership to prioritize, organize, and improve cross-functional performance through better process and leveraging of data and information.

The position will interact with internal staff and with external business partners to maximize effectiveness and efficiency while containing ongoing expenses.

Essential Duties

  • Leads multiple complex initiatives that impact the quality and effectiveness of service delivery at RMHS
  • Manage, mentor, and train a team of quality data analyst and other quality assurance staff.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for quality management and ensure that all team members have the necessary skills and resources to perform their roles effectively.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on quality performance, including trends, KPIs, and improvement initiatives, to senior management.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment on quality goals and priorities.
  • Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources and reconciles conflicts.
  • Accountable for effective change management within and across projects.
  • Ensures any risks and issues that arise from the solution are understood and accepted by affected stakeholders
  • Reviews information and trends to ensure desired results are achieved
  • Manages process change and project scope. Communicates project scope changes to team members, managers and other stakeholders
  • Monitors, measures and provides feedback on quality and performance efforts
  • Conducts analysis of data to improve efficiencies, effectiveness and fiscal integrity
  • Manages staff in the department and is responsible for the performance management, hiring and training of the staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience providing supervision
  • 1+ year experience analyzing data and using the results to drive improvements
  • 1+ year experience developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Experience writing and delivering staff training.
  • Bachelors degree in business administration or related discipline or comparable experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in and demonstrated skill in planning and project management and ability to apply these skills in effective working partnerships across organizational lines
  • Strong analytical, research, statistical, quantitative, and deduction skills and ability to make qualitative judgments about training, education and development resources in all types and formats
  • 2+ years of experience improving outcomes in people-centric processes
