**MUST RESIDE IN COLORADO**

Position Purpose

 

The Data Analyst is primarily responsible for the collection and reporting of data.  This position will act as a consultant to support and assist in developing information for implementing department strategy, program/project evaluation and designing departmental reports used to document progress, quality measures, and for the justification of risk management decisions. This position works in close partnership with the Management Team to create a system of quality indicators and operational infrastructure to achieve performance outcomes aligned with the organization and department’s goals.

 

 

 

Qualifications

Essential Duties

 

  • Gather and collect data from various sources including databases, spreadsheets, and external datasets.
  • Create meaningful data visualizations, such as charts and graphs to present findings to stakeholders.
  • Generate dashboards and reports to communicate data-driven insights effectively.
  • Interpret data results and provide actionable recommendations to support business objectives.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Manage reports request, distribution, and data access.
  • Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.
  • Supporting the data warehouse analyst in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
  • Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
  • Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
  • Training end-users on new reports and dashboards.
  • Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
  • Completes monthly program metrics data pulls and reports in the RMHS Metrics Dashboard, and other required reporting deliverables for state/federal regulatory compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent organizational, communication and facilitation skills.
  • Detailed understanding of project management processes, planning and execution.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of data.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with administrative and management staff.
  • Ability to maintain client confidentiality; maintain HIPAA standards for client files.
  • Knowledge of administrative computer functions.

 

Minimum Qualifications

**MUST RESIDE IN COLORADO**

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer sciences or equivalent specialized work experience.
  • Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
  • Understanding statistical knowledge and techniques.
  • A meticulous approach to data cleaning and analysis to ensure accuracy.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or other relevant software.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
  • High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in computer science, statistics, or related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Experience with private and/or Federal grant management
  • Experience with reporting using visualization tools (Power of BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
     

 

Driving Category - Requirements

 

Driving Category B:

Employees who may drive RMHS or personal vehicles for business purposes. Category B employees may transport other employees but will not transport RMHS clients.

 

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proof of motor vehicle insurance
  • Personal vehicle in good operating condition for use during work, including transporting individuals
  • No major violations in the past three years.
  • No more than two moving violations in the past three years
  • Ability to meet and maintain agency driving requirements and operate agency vehicles
  • Drivers must upload proof of ongoing auto insurance every 6 months into Paycom/Relias.
