Position Overview

As a Site Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall maintenance of commercial properties. You will lead and manage a team of janitorial staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team of janitorial staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management. 

  • Oversee and ensure the proper execution of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal. 

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that cleaning protocols are being followed and the facility is maintained to the highest standards. 

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and address any concerns or requests. 

  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper storage and usage. 

  • Train new staff members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards. 

  • Respond promptly to emergencies or urgent cleaning situations as they arise. 

  • Provide clear communication to both staff and management regarding updates, issues, and performance feedback. 

  • Monitor and enforce safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. 

  • Other tasks and projects requested by the customer and/or the Advanced team.  

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a management role within the janitorial or commercial cleaning industry.

  • Strong knowledge of janitorial best practices, cleaning techniques, and equipment usage. 

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team. 

  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage schedules, tasks, and supplies. 

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.  

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick decisions in dynamic situations. 

  • Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols related to janitorial work. 

  • Must be fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications a plus.
