Description

The Business Development Manager reports directly to the Principal Broker and the CEO of HOALiving and must possess a strong knowledge of property management, Utah statutes, adhere to best management practices, develop mutually beneficial proposals, negotiate contract terms and communicate effectively with clients. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s strategic marketing and growth plan; developing department goals and objectives; directing, managing and coaching staff to ensure best industry practices are being implemented. The Business Development Manager of FCS Rentals will develop a strategy focused on both financial growth and customer satisfaction, identify new markets and customer needs and promote the company’s services.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· Possess a thorough knowledge of property management operations

· Detail oriented and highly organized

· Skilled in modeling company core values and fostering a collaborative team in a company culture of excellence

· Goal-oriented towards achieving overall company metrics and personal KPI metrics

· Excellent customer relations skills

· Exhibit a high degree of diplomacy, respect and trustworthiness

· Effective oral and written communication skills

· Enthusiasm, good attitude, trustworthiness, personal integrity and honesty

· Ability to exercise good judgment and self-management

· Excellent understanding of statutory requirements regarding Utah Real Estate.

· Computer competency in Microsoft Office, with strong proficiency on Excel and Word, as well as property management software

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Actively generate new business accounts individually and collaboratively; including, but not limited to, synergy with HOALiving companies and their potential clients

· Develop and nurture relationships with real estate agents and other property management professionals

· Develop relationships with current clients and ensure customer satisfaction

· Work with HOALiving partners to identify marketing opportunities and develop mailing campaigns

· Write and present status reports to leadership team

· Maintain and develop database of property owners

· Develop relationships with developers of multi-family properties

· Create, refine and implement operational policies and procedures for Business Development and Marketing

 

QUALIFICATIONS

· Active Utah Real Estate Agent License required, or ability to obtain licenses within 4 months

· Minimum of 3-5 years Property Management experience

· Strong knowledge of the Fair Housing Act

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent industry experience

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Physical Demands:

The Business Develop Manager of FCS Rentals may spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers but will also require networking out in the community and travel, as necessary. This position also requires some lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.

Environmental Conditions:

This position is located in a busy, open area office. The incumbent will be faced with interruptions and must meet with others on a regular basis.

Mental Demands:

There are a number of deadlines associated with this position, which may cause stress. The incumbent must deal with a wide variety of people on various issues.
