WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

Position Summary

The Warehouse Associate position is responsible for successful transfer and tracking of materials by hand or equipment to ensure the successful shipping and receiving of materials in our warehouse.
Role & Responsibilities

• Ensure finished goods are packed according to specification and shipped in a timely fashion.
• Outbound Load preparation (packaging & labeling on outgoing freight)
• Inbound Load Processing
• Communicate relevant information between and across departments
• Follow the FIFO process
• Crate and package finished goods for shipment, including accessory kits
• Move materials physically to their designated location using forklift, cherry picker, or physical means.
• Downstock items in the warehouse as directed by the Warehouse lead.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and optimize space utilization

Job Requirements

• Education Required: Diploma - HIgh School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years ofWarehouse Experience preferred
• Ability to multitask in fast paced environment
• Forklift Certification or experience preferred
• Organizational and time management skills

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed in a shop and warehouse environment. Conditions include proximity to moving mechanical parts, exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection, exposure to vibration through the use of tools and equipment. Required to wear personal protective equipment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Frequent lifting of up to 10-25 pounds
• Occasional lifting up to 50-80 pounds
• Constant standing, frequent walking and occasional squatting

Salary Range: $15-17/hr
