Intake Specialist

Assistance Plus is seeking an individual to join their case management team as an Intake Specialist. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position and will be located at our Benton Office. 

The Intake Specialist (IS) will report to the Director of Behavioral Health and be the primary individual responsible for opening case management referrals. The Intake Specialist will work closely with the Administrative Coordinator to ensure referrals are processed and opened as efficiently and timely as possible. The Intake Specialist will work closely with the Team Leaders in assigning new opens to case managers within their catchment area.

Position Requirements:

• Proof of vehicle insurance at $50K/$100K and a valid Maine drivers license are required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• MHRT/C or MHRT/CP
• Intermediate level computer experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience/knowledge of behavioral health services
