Description

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm. Potential overtime available on Fridays.

Areas of Accountability

Inventory Management/Movement Shipment Management

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

All areas of accountability to be delivered with GRIT - our values of Generosity, Relationships, Integrity, and Teamwork

Work safely and comply with company and regulatory safety/environmental policies, practices and procedures

Maintain highest level of confidentiality, customer service and professionalism to promote a positive image of the Company

Operate forklift to load and unload trucks

Transfer finished & unfinished materials (dry goods, meat, pallets, dunnage, and cans/lids) between production floor and storage

Receive in correct product according to bill-of-lading and purchase order

Assist in pulling materials, prepping orders for shipment, rotating raw materials, and inventory/cycle counts

Communicate efficiently with production staff, office staff, and visitors

Drive yard truck safely and properly to move trailers

Drill pallets of frozen meat to take samples and deliver samples to lab for testing

Ensure all areas (production floor, dock, and warehouse) are clean and organized

Ensure required reports and paperwork are completed accurately and in a timely manner

Qualifications

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), preferred

Previous warehouse experience, desired

Forklift certified, preferred

Ability to speak and write in English to fill out proper shipping documents

Ability to lift over 50 pounds

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb, frequently

Ability to handle hot and cold conditions (must dress according to weather) and be aware of any wet floors or other hazards

Ability to perform safety-sensitive position
