Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED, preferred. High school students must comply with the Student Employee Policy as outlined in the Port Madison Employee Handbook. Some food preparation training helpful. One year of food handling experience necessary. Food handler’s card required within 30 days of employment. Must successfully obtain a tips card within 60 days of employment (18 to 20 years of age must obtain Class 13 and 21 years of age or older, must obtain Class 12 Mixologist certification).
Job Conditions:
Working conditions include working in the Dining Room during busy times of the day and night, noisy and crowded conditions. Conditions will also include frequent interruptions, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Has the ability to lift 50 lbs. while standing, twisting, or bending. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and have manual and finger dexterity for handling, serving dishes, and other equipment.
