POSITION SUMMARY
The Litigation Paralegal performs legal support functions as outlined below. The Paralegal is responsible for supporting multiple attorneys in the Firm and is expected to have a high degree of responsibility for project management and implementation.Â

Job Functions:
• Prepare, review, edit, proofread and file a variety of documents
• Review incoming discovery from opposing counsel for deficiency and prepare supplemental requests, as needed
• Review, request and summarize medical and criminal records
• Prepare background memorandum’s on witnesses and businesses
• Organize and maintain case files, attorney notebooks, databases, spreadsheets and other materials
• Prepare witness and exhibit lists
• Interact and communication with experts
• Heavily involved in e-discovery and e-discovery platforms, such as Relativity
• Assist attorneys in preparation for trial by arranging preparing trial exhibits, coordinating experts and witnesses and preparing demonstrative exhibits
• Review case files have strong understanding on material needed to push case forward and request information needed such as driving records, cell phone records, medical and miscellaneous records
• Administratively support Firm business development, if needed
• Prepare and cull documents for production, expert review, depositions and medical examinations
• Knowledge of how to review, prepare and maintain cases for appeal, as well as class action suits
• Coordinate and track project activities
• Prepare medical chronologies
• Perform other duties as requested
