- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to review documents to identify information responsive and relevant to the litigation with training and guidance.
- Utilize legal software and databases for research and case management.
- Ability to work well both independently & as part of a team.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and iManage.
- Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and processes.
- Ability to electronically file (ECF) in state and federal courts and communicate with court personnel.
- Extensive experience with Relativity and/or eDiscovery platforms is preferred but not required.
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree in paralegal studies or a related field is preferred but not required.
- 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on defense litigation, is highly desirable.
- Paralegal certification is a plus.
