POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a savvy Shopify / Digital Marketing Specialist that is well-versed in Ecommerce, Email Marketing, Paid Advertising and other various Digital Marketing Channels and Mediums.  The Shopify / Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, budgeting, executing, and analyzing Byrna’s Ecommerce Strategy.  Candidate must be able to take a high-level goal (ie. Generate More Leads) and define and execute a strategy to achieve the goal.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies to promote our products and services.
  • Manage and update our Shopify store, ensuring product listings are accurage and optimized for search engines.
  • Create and schedule engaging content for social media platforms, email campaigns, and other digital channels.
  • Monitor and analyze website traffic and end user engagement metrics using tools like Google Analytics.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Assist in the creation of monthly performance reports and provide insights for improvements.
  • Build and maintain organic social media engagement by creating compelling content and fostering community interaction.
  • Execute advertising programs for the business in a fast-paced and competitive environment across all digital media channels. Candidate must be able to understand and work in Channels and Mediums beyond Google Search and Meta.
  • Candidate will be responsible for defining and building out marketing strategies to achieve revenue goals set for regional websites.
  • Candidate must be able to work and coordinate effectively with remote colleagues to create and execute strategies and initiatives.
  • Candidate must be able to effectively set, measure, and optimize campaigns to hit target goals and KPI’s.  The ability to understand how an initiative is performing beyond ROAS is a requirement.
  • Deliver experiences for a variety of digital marketing channels including writing, scheduling, and optimizing daily/weekly/monthly content across multiple social platforms, and working with editorial, social, and audience development leads to expand and refine digital marketing strategies as needed.
  • Identify new areas of opportunity within existing placements and channels, as well as evaluate and test new technologies using market trends, internal data industry best practices to inform decision making.
  • Execute partnerships and sponsorships to generate good will, publicity, and brand building value.
  • Stay current on market trends and competitive activity.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify Plus platform.  Previous experience working with products, collections, pages and apps.
  • Experience working to create content with bloggers, online personalities and publishers to build DTC brand.
  • Possess outstanding strategic, creative, and storytelling abilities that will be necessary for the development of creative advertising materials.
  • Strong working knowledge of major and minor digital advertising platforms with understanding of pricing, attribution, and strategy.
  • Affiliate marketing experience working with publishers to build brand awareness and drive conversion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Photoshop/InDesign experience is a plus. Strong proficiency with photo resizing, audio and short-form video editing preferred.
  • Multilingual a strong plus.
  • Klavio, Social Media and Google/web anaytics
