We are seeking a Digital Media Planner responsible for developing and executing digital advertising strategies to reach a Byrna’s target audience effectively. This role will analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and media performance to optimize campaigns across various digital channels.
Responsibilities Include:
- Digital Advertising Knowledge
- Understanding of paid media channels (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, programmatic display, native advertising, etc.).
- Experience with social media platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, etc.).
- Knowledge of SEO & SEM principles.
- Data Analysis & Performance Metrics
- Ability to work with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or other tracking tools.
- Understanding of KPIs like CTR, CPM, CPA, ROAS, and conversion rates.
- Experience using A/B testing and audience segmentation.
- Ability to coordinate and develop media calendars to track and measure for purposes of attribution and ongoing optimization.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Experience in allocating media budgets across platforms.
- Ability to use media mix modeling and forecasting tools to optimize ad spend.
- Ad Tech & Platforms
- Familiarity with DSPs (Demand Side Platforms) and SSPs (Supply Side Platforms).
- Knowledge of ad serving platforms (Google Campaign Manager, The Trade Desk, etc.).
- Understanding of programmatic advertising and real-time bidding (RTB).
- Market Research & Audience Insights
- Ability to use tools like Nielsen, Comscore, or SimilarWeb.
- Experience conducting competitor analysis and audience research.
- Understanding of consumer behavior and trends.
- Communication & Strategy Development
- Ability to collaborate with creative, marketing, and analytics teams.
- Experience in building media plans and presenting strategies.
- Strong negotiation skills with vendors and partners.
- Experience with Marketing Automation & CRM
- Exposure to HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, or other CRM tools.
- Understanding how media planning integrates with email marketing and lead nurturing.
- Compliance & Privacy Knowledge
- Awareness of GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations.
- Understanding of cookie-less tracking and first-party data strategies.
