POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a passionate, responsible, retail sales manager for one of our flagship retails stores opening soon! Be a crucial part from the beginning, have a say in design and promotional opportunities both in the store and in the community. Help spread the Byrna products and mission to make a difference in the community by offering an onsite location to learn about our products, test them in a secure range area, and purchase right there!
Responsibilities:
- Managing retail stores, including store operations, strategic planning, event planning, loss prevention, and budgeting/expense controls.
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service and handle all customer service-related issues.
- Hiring, training, and supervision of store teams with an emphasis on safety and development of store personnel for additional growth and responsibilities.
- Execution of key retail metrics to standards including Sales Targets, Conversion, Address Capture, Email Conversion, and Customer Service scores.
- P&L management, including top-line and bottom-line performance.
- Specific emphasis on managing labor, refunds, total gross margin, and supplies within budget.
- Assist in setting marketing and merchandising strategy and ensure high level of execution.
- Maintaining execution of sales audit controls in all stores, including daily paperwork, receiving/returns, inventory controls, and other paperwork.
- Maintaining the display and layout of merchandise.
- Executing physical Inventory controls.
- Execution of Human Resources initiatives and compliance.
- Responsible for maintaining staff motivation.
- Oversee product ordering & inventory replenishment.
- Plan and execute store events.
- Some travel required.
- Other duties as assigned.
