Compensation:

  • In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is posted with this position. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Role Summary

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This position is responsible for providing a high level of administrative support to ensure efficient and effective HR processes.

How you will Impact Change:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS system (Paycom) ensuring compliance with all relevant record-keeping requirements.
  • Manages several aspects of the monthly quality assistance calendar, including professional license verifications, driver’s license expirations, and program personnel rosters.
  • Supports employee termination activities, ensuring proper documentation is in the personnel file, scheduling exit interviews, and removing the employee from all organization portals (internal and external).
  • Provide back-up support for New Hire Orientation. Assist new hires with Paycom registration, I-9 verification, audit completion, and biometric clock registration.
  • May assist with other HR functions or projects as needed.
  • Willingness and ability to make frequent field visits, attend meetings, conferences and other job related events away from headquarters. If driving a personal vehicle, must be approved by our agency’s automobile insurance carrier.

Qualifications

Education and Credentials

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resource management, public administration, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • At least one year of experience working with a human resources department is preferred.
  • Nonprofit experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Paycom is strongly preferred.
