The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and management of projects. They will work with teams of engineers, architects, designers, etc. to ensure that all projects are completed on time and on budget. The Project Manager must be able to effectively manage multiple projects at once while still providing clear direction to their team members. They also need strong communication skills to coordinate with clients or other stakeholders throughout the process.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & FUNCTIONS include the following, others may be assigned.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, both internally and externally. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders. Understand client needs and objectives and develop detailed project plans to meet those goals.
- Planning, directing, and coordinating the development and execution of engineering projects throughout the project life cycle. This will include creating FEL documents for all phases of the projects based on the Stage-Gate approach.
- Oversee all aspects of project execution, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, and change management. Schedule, track project controls, and manage the execution of engineering projects with Primavera.
- Works closely with the assigned Project Leads creating and managing project plans, resources, and deliverables. Support Project Leads with creating EWR Effectively manage project teams, including engineers, designers, drafters, and technicians. Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure that all aspects of the project are considered.
- Supports maintenance efforts as required to ensure reliable and correct operation of equipment.
- Provides technical process information to organizations by answering questions and requests.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional organizations as applicable.
- Trains others in areas of proficiency or expertise.
- Understands and follows all organizational policies, procedures, and rules, ensuring that all laws are obeyed, and equal employment, safety and environmental protection are practiced.
- Must be able to work more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week on any shift or travel as needed. Must be available for call-in as needed to support 24-hour/7 day per week operational requirements.

- No direct reports. Although individual will work with Engineering & Construction Manager to determine work priorities for multi-discipline Designers, Project Leads, and several contractors.
