Essential Functions:

Business Data Analyst – Lakewood, CO

Federal Grant Management & Program Support

• Provide federal grant management support for the General Services Administration (GSA) across finance, accounting, IT, research, and other operational fields.

• Work onsite to ensure seamless integration of business processes within the LCA program and Region 8 Leasing Division.

Data Analysis & Research

• Conduct data analysis and research for key projects, including Novations, File Reviews, Property Tax analysis, Operating Cost Adjustments, and Rent Inquiries.

• Perform strategic evaluations, ensuring accuracy and relevance in program decision-making.

Operational & Project Support

• Support managers and customers in achieving project goals and meeting strict deadlines.

• Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the analysis, planning, and implementation of critical program initiatives.

• Assist in national program initiatives, including portfolio-wide modifications to optimize business operations.

Training & Collaboration

• Provide training, mentoring, and shadowing opportunities for new Business Data Analysts to ensure smooth onboarding.

• Cross-train across multiple LCA regions, supporting various teams and expanding operational efficiency.

Conditions of Employment

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must a past federal pre-employment background investigation.
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience. Equivalent experience includes:
  • 4+ years experience supporting program data analysis activities with no related degree; OR
  • 2+ years experience supporting program data analysis activities with related Associates Degree; OR
  • No experience with a related BA or BS degree.
• Specializes in data analysis in one or more of the following areas:
  • Tax; Finance; Accounting; Budgeting; Auditing; Quality control; Research; Legal and regulatory compliance; Administration.
  • Other similar management and operation activities.

• Superior customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to take the initiative and use independent judgment.
• Has held the Business Data Analyst position for at least 1 year.
• Ability to utilize multiple applications, Google Sheets and Microsoft office suite.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.

• Transparent communicator with superior written and oral communication skills.
• Pragmatic team player who is not confined by a job description and is willing step in to assist where needed no task is too big or too small for you.
