Roles, Expectations & Responsibilities
Lead Management & Follow-Up
- Prompt follow up on marketing-qualified leads (MQLs), inquiries, and open proposals to maintain engagement and interest, meeting Enercon’s 10-minute goal for Website inquiries with Enercon’s Phone First Email Second Philosophy
- Build rapport & establish trust with potential customers, as a knowledgeable & friendly first point of contact.
- Understand customer needs, challenges, and level of interest and connect them with our application experts & sales team as appropriate.
- For leads not ready for sales: nurture those leads over time, ensuring consistent and meaningful touchpoints to increase engagement and readiness for handoff to the sales team.
Proposal Follow-Up
- Follow up with Enercon customers who have not taken recent action after requesting parts quotes, sample trials and other highly engaged activities.
Outbound Marketing (New Markets, Special Projects & Current Customers)
- Research, identify and proactively reach out to prospective customers through strategic outreach.
- Initiate conversations with prospects via phone, email, and social media to understand their needs, challenges, and level of interest while consultatively positioning Enercon as a potential solution.
Strategic & Creative Outreach
- Apply a mix of art and science to lead nurturing—experimenting with different follow-up strategies, messaging, and communication techniques to improve effectiveness.
- Develop and refine best practices for outreach, testing what works and continuously improving engagement strategies.
- Maintain a high level of activity and persistence, staying proactive in reaching out to customers.
Data Management & Reporting
- Keep accurate and detailed records of all prospect interactions, status updates, and follow-ups in the CRM system.
- Track and analyze engagement metrics to optimize outreach effectiveness.
- Provide regular feedback to sales and marketing teams on lead quality and conversion trends.
Inbound Calls & Web Chat
- Serves as primary for inbound calls without a current existing relationship.
- Serves as backup for inbound calls for sales managers when traveling or on the phone.
- Actively engages with online chat leads and works to convert them to qualified leads and takes the lead role for response with this tool.
Vitality of the Organization
- Participate in department staff meetings by providing an update on activities, strategic ideas that help grow our business, while learning about trends and new product offerings
