Key Responsibilities:

As an Assembler at Enercon Industries, you will play a crucial role in assembling mechanical and electrical systems to precise specifications and quality standards. Your primary focus will be on assembling corona treaters, corona flex assemblies, and producing fabricated components - accounting for 75% or more of your time. Additionally, you will spend your time ensuring proper warehousing or stocking of parts, maintaining quality control, helping to ensure timely delivery of quality products to customers, driving continuous improvement, and engaging in 5S work. Reporting directly to the department’s supervisor, you will be responsible for meeting production deadlines, exhibiting meticulous attention to detail, and actively participating in continuous process improvement through discussions, feedback, cross-training, and collaboration.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work from blueprints and CAD drawings in both Metric and Customary (US) units to ensure accurate parts before initiating the assembly process.
  • Mechanically assemble corona treaters a low volume and highly customizable product with some electrical wiring of components, adhering to the highest quality standards throughout a multi-day assembly process per unit.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of work hours and material usage by diligently clocking in and out, reflecting precise labor time and material utilization in the ERP system.
  • Organize and stock parts in the warehouse systematically adhering to part location.
  • Conduct quality control checks on components and final assemblies.
  • Contribute to positive changes that elevate the efficiency and effectiveness of departmental operations and improvement of the safety and quality of work content through the continuous improvement processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in mechanical assembly, military, or construction.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
  • Intrinsic motivation to work productively, efficiently, and prioritize duties effectively.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines within a dynamic production environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Knowledge of production us of an ERP System particularly Epicor ERP is advantageous.
  • Capability to work independently while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with supervisors and team members.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with prior experience in electrical pallet jack or forklift operations being advantageous but not essential.
