Job Description
Summary
Effectively support the controller in daily operational activities, while supervising and motivating staff to deliver precise and comprehensive financial reports to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage fixed assets schedule to ensure proper recording of new purchases and disposals
- Record and reconcile inventory transactions, supervise cycle counts, review BOMs
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist and manage month-end close procedures as assigned while utilizing current technologies to ensure proper record keeping
- Review and approve Payroll and Payroll related items
- Manage accounts receivable
- Prepare accruals and other general ledger activities
- Support periodic financial reviews, analysis and ad hoc reporting
- Support audits, and regulatory reporting and inquires
- Support process documentation and cross training of staff, supervision, and review of work product
- Coordinate with multiple departments (HR, Program Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality)
- Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week. Typical office hours include Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm; however, these hours may vary based on workload and the manager’s discretion. This job may require more than 40 hours of work per week as the need arises.
