Media Production Intern

Subtext is a rapidly growing real estate development company specializing in the development of urban and suburban multifamily and student housing communities across the country.  With over $1 billion of projects successfully completed and over $1.6 billion in development, we are seeking a passionate and hardworking individual to help execute our mission of delivering a best-in-class resident experience.  This is a unique opportunity for a self-motivated and driven individual to join a dynamic development company and make significant contributions to our ambitious growth plan. We are looking for a creative, motivated Media Production Intern to join our growing marketing team and help bring our brand stories to life through engaging photo, video, and graphic content. Expectations for this role are listed below. 


Photography & Videography:
•    Capture high-quality photos and videos for internal and external marketing use.
•    Edit and enhance photos/videos to align with brand standards.
Content Development:
•    Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop authentic content ideas that entertain and humanizes our brand for social and digital platforms.
•    Manage post-production tasks, including video editing, creating graphics and animation, integrating audio, and delivering polished, final video files ready for distribution.
Digital Media Support:
•    Contribute to social media strategies by preparing visual assets tailored for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
•    Help maintain and organize content libraries, ensuring easy access for team use.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program (or recent graduate) in Media Production, Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, Film, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of photography, videography, and graphic design fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (CapCut, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, After Effects, etc.) or similar tools (Canva).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • A passion for storytelling and an eye for visual details that bring brands to life.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

 

Qualifications
