Position Summary: The HR Assistant/Receptionist greets and welcomes staff and visitors to the Main Office in a congenial manner while performing clerical and administrative tasks associated with the daily operations of the organization.
Essential Accountabilities:
- Perform clerical and administrative tasks to support efficient operations.
- Handle heavy volume of calls including transferring to the appropriate parties.
- Meet, greet, and welcome visitors and staff of the organization.
- Inform personnel, in a timely manner, when a visitor or visitors(s) have arrived.
- Ensure that all visitors sign in and have provided identification.
- Provide directions and assistance as needed.
- Assist with pre-employment reference verifications for internal and external candidates.
- Conduct employment verifications.
- Make copies, scan, and upload personnel documents to the HRIS.
- Distributes mail to the designated recipient.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
- Assist with any special projects as directed by HR management.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
