Description of Position
The Class A CDL Truck Driver will deliver a variety of equipment, tools, and supplies to and from customer worksites for TEC Equipment Company.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

Safely and independently drive a Class A truck hauling equipment on a flatbed (dovetail) or RGN (lowboy) trailer in a variety of conditions, including urban, suburban, rural settings; Ensure safety, quality control, and environmental protection programs are followed throughout all travel and other duties.

Transport and deliver a variety of equipment and freight ranging from small goods such as scissor lift, light towers to large bulldozers, excavators; light to heavy construction equipment; agriculture and lawn equipment. Secure cargo and properly arrange it within the vehicle for hauling.

Communicate and coordinate with General Manager, Service Director, Technicians, Sales personnel, Rental Managers, and other team members to ensure proper and timely delivery of equipment, tools, and/or supplies. Complete any related paperwork and maintain accurate documentation as required.

Completes a pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspection of tractor, trailer, and securements. Ensures the truck, trailer and securement is safe to travel before leaving the branch or customer’s site.

Ensures the truck has all necessary paperwork, and the truck and trailer are labeled, flagged, placarded, etc. for the load being hauled.
