Screen Print Press Operator

GOEX Apparel is the signature job creation initiative of The Global Orphan Project.  We are a social enterprise, independently verified for ethical business practices by The Fair Trade Federation, The Social Enterprise Alliance and B-Corp.  We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic screen print press operator to join our team!

• Starts machines and performs trial runs to verify the accuracy of machine setups.  
• Printing responsibilities including order accuracy, high-quality printing, quality checks, curing, and order preparation.  
• Performs routine adjustments during the press run maintaining consistency & quality throughout.
• Assists with post-press and provides additional quality control.  
• Maintain an understanding of ongoing programs to create consistency and exceed client expectations.
• Complete jobs as scheduled daily and update in system per standard processes.
• Tape and prep screens as needed.
• Assist in press maintenance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a press operator with 3+ years of automatic print press experience.  Our shop exclusively uses ROQ equipment so experience with that machinery a plus.  Additional key success indicators:

Compensation for this position is between $18 and $20 per hour, depending on relevant experience.
