Description

The Hackley School seeks an Admissions Coordinator to support all aspects of the admissions process alongside the Admissions Team.  This role is the primary point of contact for all inquiries related to Admissions. Working with all members of the Admissions Team, the Admissions Coordinator provides administrative support to help facilitate day-to-day interactions. 

 

Specific Responsibilities

The coordinator’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Primary point of contact for all inquiries, visitors and communications via email, telephone and other correspondence means.
  • Maintain the Admissions Office calendar for visitors, events, campus tours, information sessions, and interviews for the Admissions Team and several faculty interviewers.
  • Support planning and on-site coordination of Admissions events, including but not limited to two fall Saturday Open Houses.
  • Provide data entry and document management for internal offices and other areas as needed.
  • Create and manage electronic student application files (more than 700 a year).
  • Transcribe notes from Board of Trustees committee meetings as needed.
  • Support the Admissions Office needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required 
  • Minimum of two years experience in an Independent School admissions office, or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace, including Word/Docs, Excel/Sheets, Forms, Canva and Zoom Meetings and Webinars 
  • Customer Service Experience, preferred
  • Experience with Veracross, preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish or Mandarin, preferred

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $57,500.

This is a non-exempt, overtime-eligible 12-month position. Standard work hours are 8 AM-4 PM with early arrival or late departure during peaks of the admissions cycle. Occasional weekend hours required.
