Nurse and Clinical Recruiter

Centurion is proud to be a leading provider of comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and community mental health centers nationwide.

We are currently seeking a full- time Nurse and Clinical Recruiter to join our recruiting team. This position is fully remote, with a strong preference for candidates based in or near Illinois. Salary starting at $85,000 depending on years of experience. 

The Nurse and Clinical Recruiter is responsible for sourcing and generating candidates for all nursing and clinical positions within an assigned region. This role manages accurate and up-to-date data in the applicant tracking system, conducts phone screenings, and presents qualified candidates to hiring managers with clear and detailed profiles. The recruiter leverages various sourcing tools—including cold calling, healthcare association networks, job boards, social media, targeted advertising, and email campaigns—and occasionally travels to client meetings, job fairs, conferences, and other recruitment events.

•    Minimum of two (2) years of experience in recruiting physicians required
•    Proficiency in various computer applications, including Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel 
•    Previous experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, particularly Paycom HCM, preferred 
•    Strong problem-solving, organization, written and oral communication, and negotiation skills
•    Ability to establish rapport and effective working relationships with program management, candidates, end users, and corporate headquarters 
•    Self-motivation and customer service orientation required
•    Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage a large workload required
