Salary Range: $36-$55/hr based on years of experience


Centurion is proud to be the provider of medical and mental healthcare services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.   We are currently seeking a Full-time Internal Auditor/Healthcare Analyst to support our regional team based in Jessup, Maryland. 


The Internal Auditor/Healthcare Analyst ensures healthcare processes and patient care quality across various state correctional facilities.  This person collaborates closely with the healthcare auditing team and clients to evaluate compliance with applicable regulations and industry best practices.  They conduct comprehensive audits of healthcare procedures within state correctional facilities, assessing the adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.  This person will asses the quality of patient care, including medical dental and mental health services, identifying areas for enhancement.  They stay informed about pertinent state and federal healthcare regulations, ensuring facility compliance.  This person performs data analysis by collecting and examing data related to healthcare processes and patient outcomes, providing actionable insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration, finance or accounting
  • Understanding of healthcare programs, contract indicators, project management, audits, conducting administrative medical compliance analysis, online document management, developing procedural manuals, preparing statistical and organizational charts and presentations
  • Ability to identify indicators and review contract services against requirements
  • One to two years' experience as a community healthcare contract analyst/reviewer
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
