Certified Medication Technician (CMT)

PRN Pay $18.00 per hour + shift diff, depending on years of experience!

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections. 

We are currently seeking a per-diem Certified Medication Technician to join our team at Women's Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center located in Vandalia, Missouri.

The Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing/nursing designee, administers medications as prescribed, documents administration and documents and reports any noted adverse actions or side effects.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must maintain active status on the Missouri State Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Registry (mo.tmutest.com).
• Insulin certification required.
• Completion of an approved Certified Nurse Assistant program and maintenance of active status as a Certified Nurse Assistant (mo.tmutest.com).
• One year experience in acute care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.
• Must maintain active CPR and Basic Life Support certification.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
