Centurion is proud to be the provider of medical services to the Hennepin County Department of Community Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full-time day/evening shift EMT/Basic to join our team at Hennepin County Department of Community Corrections Adult Correction Facility located in Plymouth, Minnesota.
The EMT may be responsible for gathering patient vital signs, obtaining specimens, applying dressings, assisting nurses by following written and/or oral instructions to administer medications and document drug dosages and times of administration, assisting in examinations, and assisting patients with activities of daily living. Additional responsibilities include working closely with a multidisciplinary team to monitor patients,recognizing and documenting the signs and symptoms of medical needs warranting additional professional expertise, and notifying the appropriate medical staff of changes in patient’s condition, reaction to medications and/or treatments, and of other significant incidents.
