Position Summary:
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, manage the Human Resources (HR) department and provide human resources services. Develops and maintains programs and best practices for recruitment, retention, benefit administration, compensation, employee relations, HR information systems, and staff development. HR policy development and maintenance.
Essential Job Functions:
Strategic Planning and Leadership:
Collaborating with senior management:
- Working with the leadership team to develop and implement strategic HR plans that align with the company's overall business goals.
- Develop workforce planning strategies with leadership to support current and future business plans.
Developing HR policies and procedures:
- Creating and maintaining a comprehensive set of HR policies and procedures that comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Establish and update the company compensation strategy and structure
Ensuring compliance:
- Staying up to date with changes in employment laws and regulations and implementing necessary changes to HR practices to ensure compliance.
Leading the HR team:
- Providing guidance, support, and leadership to the HR team to ensure they perform effectively and meet their objectives
Employee Relations and Engagement:
Managing employee relations:
- Overseeing and resolving employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
Improving employee engagement:
- Implementing strategies to improve employee engagement, such as employee recognition programs, feedback mechanisms, and opportunities for professional development.
Managing benefits programs:
- Overseeing the development and implementation of benefits programs that attract and retain top talent.
Ensuring a positive work environment:
- Promoting a positive and inclusive work environment where all employees feel valued and respected.
