Talen Acquisition Specialist

Position Overview: 

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for overseeing and executing all aspects of the organization's recruitment and talent acquisition strategies. This role will attract, identify, and hire top talent to support the company's growth and objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible and develop the full recruitment life cycle, including job posting, intake meetings, sourcing, screening, updating job boards, and interviewing. Ability to negotiate job offers, with oversight from Human Resources Manager.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods to attract diverse and high-quality candidates, including cold calling, networking, relationship building, and traditional approaches.
  • Provide strategic recruitment support with a focus on creating and maintaining a best-in-class experience.
  • Utilize data and metrics to track recruiting effectiveness and efficiency, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to advance efforts in recruitment.
  • Partner with department heads to identify and prioritize hiring needs. Lead and coordinate talent acquisition efforts by engaging in a combination of outbound and inbound strategies.
  • Plan and conduct off-site recruitment events.
  • Interact and post open jobs with local universities and organizations to ensure exposure and awareness.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to identify key roles and talent skill gaps within the organization. 
  • Collaborate with HR team, operations managers, and IT to effectively onboarding new team members.
  • Communicates the unique benefits and opportunities the Company offers.
  • Create consistent and compelling messaging that reflects our values, culture, and mission.
  • Collaborate with other HR and Public Relations team members to develop graphics, recruitment materials, videos, etc. in order to design and implement marketing campaigns to attract top talent.
  • Performs all other projects and duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with a proven track record in end-to-end recruitment processes. Prior experience in luxury retail, hospitality and/or luxury travel industry a plus!
  • Proficiency in using Paycom ATS platform a plus.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment technologies, along with experience utilizing LinkedIn and Indeed for sourcing.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and filling requisitions
  • Experience in employer branding and talent pipeline development preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruiting and hiring preferred.
  • Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and other applications as needed
  • Must have high integrity, have ability to maintain strict confidentiality, and lead by example at all times
  • Regular attendance is an essential function of this position
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and talent acquisition strategies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Flexible, hospitable mindset and willing to help the business outside of normal hours if necessary

 

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to meet the following minimum physical requirements for at least an eight-hour shift:

  • Physical Stamina: Physical requirements of this position include having the ability to: sit for extended periods of time, stand and walk for extended periods of time, see and read a computer screen and printed matter with or without vision aids, enter data into a computer, operate standard office equipment, use a telephone, hear and understand at normal levels and on the telephone, speak so that others may understand at normal levels and on the telephone. 
  • Hearing / Speech: Must be able to effectively engage in one-on-one communication with guests, members, and customers and use a 2-way radio to communicate clearly and accurately with co-workers.
  • Vision: Must be able to accurately read instructions, reports, and log sheets. Must be able to work with computers and PDAs in varying light conditions.
  • Literacy: Must be able to produce, read and understand reports, including security, incident and police reports. Must be able to analyze and process written information from a variety of sources and effectively communicate content of reports.
  • Chemicals/Agents: Must be able to work safely with chemicals according to SDS sheets and all applicable laws, codes and regulatory requirements.
