Position Summary:

A casino ambassador acts as the public face of a casino, providing exceptional customer service to guests by greeting them, answering questions about the property, promoting promotions, assisting with special requests, and ensuring a positive overall experience, often focusing on high-value players while maintaining a high level of visibility on the casino floor; essentially acting as a knowledgeable and friendly guide for guests throughout their visit.

 

Essential Job functions:

  • Actively approach guests upon arrival, offering a warm welcome and providing basic information about the casino
  • Engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing inquiries about games, promotions, dining options, and other amenities
  • Possessing in-depth knowledge of the casino layout, games, table limits, slot machine locations, and other relevant information to answer guest questions accurately
  • Provide leadership in taking care of customer and Team Member concerns
  • Understand the policies and procedures for the safety and well-being of our customers, facility and employees
  • Demonstrate accurate cash handling skills and the ability to follow gaming policies and practices for cash movement
  • Assist with implementing the Casino’s monthly marketing plan and communicating the plan with customers and Team Members
  • Become well versed on the benefits and policies of the Casino’s Jefe rewards promotions
  • Assist and aid customers who have questions and concerns on their Slot Club benefits
  • Addressing guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues to appropriate staff when necessary
  • Consistently meet their shift quota for new slot club sign ups
  • Adhering to all gaming regulations, including age verification and responsible gaming policies
  • Understand gaming rules and policies regarding jackpots, taxable payouts and Title 31 transactions
  • All other duties assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Must be able to obtain Health card, TAM card, and Gaming License
  • Being proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, email, and player tracking systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

 

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust
  • Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. In some instances, the entire shift
  • Able to lift at least but not limited to 50 pounds and if more must be with assistance
  • Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print)
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects)
  • Ability to move quickly turning from left to right or right to left
  • Flexibility in the wrist to scoop, twist, push, pull, lift, and bend
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping

Education and Required Experience:

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Having relevant experience in the casino, hospitality, or customer service industry
