Salary: $18 - $24
Objective: Develop hourly employees by providing leadership, direction, and support to assure completion of the production schedule while maintaining adherence to safety, quality, and cost considerations. Facilitate all areas of people management such as corrective actions, attendance, PTO, and other plant policies.
Job Responsibilities:
• Leads the activities of the assigned area to meet key performance production goals and objectives.
• Manage resource requirements for assigned areas to ensure efficient production methods
• Develop hourly employees to take ownership of key measures such as yields, safety, and quality
• Lead and support process improvement activities with informal and formal teams
• Understand production SOPs to develop training capability, as well as implementing best practices
• Learn and understand daily production reports to observe trends in the production cycle
• Participate in shelf-life optimization studies to qualify lines for new products and/or improved shelf life.
• Perform line activities such as theoretical yield, run rate analysis, dryer charge weight, spill points, and/or establishing line bottlenecks
