Primary Purpose of Position:
Serves meals to the residents and quests in the dining room. Takes used service items out of the dining room.
Job Duties:
- Set-up independent and assisted living dining rooms prior to meal service.
- Fill and re-stock various food, condiments and supplies, either in the kitchen or the dining rooms.
- Assist in the seating of residents and guests as necessary.
- Wait on tables, using proper service procedures.
- Take plates, food, etc. away from tables when resident is completed with the item/meal.
- Assist guests and visitors with the proper ordering procedure in the dining rooms.
- Complete on-going cleaning as needed in the kitchen and dining rooms
- Know the Kosher dietary restrictions.
