Position Summary: Chess Team Coach for Middle and Upper School. This is a part-time position.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Organize and implement trips in accordance with school policies and regulations as well as student interest and ability
- Work with the Business Office on any financial transactions that may be required
- Communicate with parents regarding expectations, practices, and contests
- Guarantee student eligibility to participate in chess based on EPS guidelines governing academic performance
- Ensure the safety of students by adhering to both team and general school rules and policies while on the EPS campus and while traveling
- Season expectations:
- Chess season is September through March
- League play during the week; tournaments are optional
