General Summary:

Reports to Director of Fuels

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused Fuel Customer Service Representative to join our team at GHRA fuels. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, handling sales inquiries, processing orders, and providing exceptional customer service to both existing and new clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a keen understanding of the fuel distribution industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Support:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective customers regarding fuel orders, deliveries, and services.
    • Assist in generating sales leads and processing fuel orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
  • Customer Service & Relationship Management:
    • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, offering tailored solutions to meet their fuel needs.
    • Track customer orders and deliveries to ensure proper coordination and follow-up on any issues or delays.
  • Order Management & Coordination:
    • Process customer orders for fuel and related products accurately in a timely manner.
    • Communicate order details to the dispatch team and coordinate delivery schedules with customers.
    • Ensure all customer requests and inquiries are documented and processed promptly.
  • Account Management & Reporting:
    • Manage customer accounts, including order histories, billing, and payment processing.
    • Generate and maintain sales reports, ensuring accurate records of customer activity and inventory levels.
    • Assist in identifying opportunities for growth and expansion within existing accounts.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in customer service, sales, or account management, ideally within the fuel or wholesale distribution industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to travel as required.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in order processing and customer interactions.
  • Basic knowledge of fuel products, pricing, and distribution processes is preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software (experience with fuel industry-specific software is a plus).
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Candidates must pass a background check, drug screen and other job requirements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in an office environment with occasional visits to customer sites as needed.
  • Ability to handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and telephone communication.
  • May be walking, driving, standing or sitting for extend period of times

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing preferred

Additional Information:

Starting Date: Immediate         

Hourly Salary Range: $22-$30
