- Ability to properly and safely operate warehouse equipment without causing harm to equipment, property, inventory or persons. Training certificates may be required (i.e. forklift certification, etc.).

Job Responsibilities/ Duties
Receiving:
- Receive merchandise and make sure to enter and check amounts accurately.
- Must communicate effectively with other departments affected by receiving merchandise.
- Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
Shipping:
- Pick, pack and ship orders promptly and accurately.
- Assist with UPS shipping as needed.
- Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, shipped and / or returned.
- Assembling customer orders from stock and placing orders on pallets/shelves, or relocating orders to a holding area or shipping department.
Returns:
- Managing customer returned material per the proper returns/warranty process (RMAs).
Put Away:
- Locate and pull inventory appropriately, support stocking and stock rotation programs, participate in inventory cycle counting, and barcode inventory programs.
- Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins accordingly.
- Insure merchandise is in the correct bins and stock is distributed promptly.
- Assist customers with locating of items while providing exceptional customer service.
- Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
- Assist in counting of physical inventory.
Delivery:
Other:
- Maintain clean work environment by organizing product, cleaning aisles, workstations/ tables, shipping/ receiving lanes, emptying trash cans, clean and organize pipe yard, and other duties that maybe delegated by supervisor.
- Ensuring warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic.
- Sweeping, dusting, and mopping.
- May be assigned facility maintenance duties as needed.
- Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
- Wearing proper safety equipment when necessary.
- Food or drink, not including daily hydration necessary for safety, should be consumed on your break or during your lunch hour in the break area.
- No misuse of tobacco products (refer to Company Tobacco Use Policy).
Physical Expectations
- Required to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- Required to talk or hear clearly, with or without the help of a medical or mechanical device.
- Occasionally required to bend, squat, twist or climb.
- Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to lift light weights (less than 25 pounds).
- Occasionally required to lift moderate weights (25-50 pounds).
- Occasionally required to lift heavy weights (75-175 pounds).
- Finger dexterity and hand coordination required.
- Specific vision abilities include: close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust or focus with or without the help of glasses, contacts or other vision aides.
Work Environment
- Daily and prolonged exposure to outside weather conditions such as extreme heat, extreme cold, wet or humid conditions, high winds, etc.
- Exposure to moving machinery.
- Occasional exposure to chemicals, fumes or airborne particles.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to noisy.
- Work availability should remain flexible as schedules are subject to change based on department and company needs.
