Student Application

Departments have limitations on students.  Not all requests for observation can be filled.  Students are encouraged to reach out to their requested departments to arrange observation or clinical rotations.

Any student under the age of 18 will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Any student whose observation, shadowing, or clinical rotation requires time spent at the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, must obtain those privileges with the hospital prior to their start date.  Any arrangements and/or agreements with the Hutchinson Clinic providers and staff DOES NOT include privileges with the hospital.

Students need to complete and provide the following before placement:

• Online Application
• Student/Observer HIPAA Education and Guidelines
• Current Immunization Record
• Current TB Test
