What You'll Do:

The Lead Program Coach must demonstrate the Agency’s purpose, philosophy, policies and procedures.  The Lead Program Coach works as a team member and provides services for clients in the MSSH Program. The Lead Program Coach provides direct care to residents on-site and assists them with developing independent living skills and other domains to prepare for self-sufficiency. This position works 2nd shift, Monday-Friday.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Job applicants must be female - This program serves expectant or new mothers, and the staff member works alone for the majority of her shift. Because the job requires rooms checks and assistance with personal hygiene, breast feeding, and pre- and post-natal care.
  • High school diploma and one to two years’ experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • The ability to write routine reports and correspondence in a legible manner.
  • The ability to use basic math skills including multiplication, division, understanding units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 
  • Must apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. 
  • Must have a valid NC driver’s license.
