Working Conditions
- Must be able to bend, walk and stand for up to 8 hours.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
- Must be able to work both planned and unplanned overtime.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Must have a basic understanding of all sewing steps used in the department.
- Must be able to professionally encourage, motivate, and facilitate cooperation and teamwork in order to reach a common goal.
- Must have the skill to act in a tactful, sensitive manner.
- Must be able to visually perform inspections of work.
- Must be able to successfully convey training attributes based upon individual needs using a variety of techniques, fixtures and devices.
- Must be able to read, write, and interpret instructions.
- Must have a basic working knowledge of computers.
Education and Work Experience
- Minimum of 3 years sewing experience required.
- Previous training experience.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
