Team Leader - ACH Pads - WS

Reports to:  Production Supervisor                           

Supervises:  N/A

 

Summary Statement:   Under the general supervision of the Production Supervisor, the person in this position is responsible for leading the efforts of the ACH Pads team following all established work and safety procedures.

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Maintain working knowledge of all equipment and operations within the department.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment following established guidelines.
  • Inform supervisor and/or maintenance of any equipment problems or concerns.
  • Identify and stage raw materials as they arrive in the department, notifying the supervisor of any discrepancies.
  • Maintain organization of raw materials to ensure efficient and correct distribution.
  • Maintain in-process inventory of all raw materials, notifying supervisor of any needs.
  • Facilitate workflow throughout the department by delivering appropriate raw materials to department personnel as needed.
  • Ensure productivity goals and quality standards are met within the department.
  • Inform supervisor of any concerns with products, inventory, quality, etc.
  • Assure cleanliness of the work area assuring productions, boxes, trash, etc. are placed in the proper receptacles.
  • Fill in for the Production Assistant during his absence.

 

Marginal Job Functions

  • Assist other personnel as time and knowledge permit.
  • Participate in training and meetings as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Working Conditions

  • Must be able to stand and walk over a 10-hour period.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to work both planned and unplanned overtime.

  • Must be able to work professionally as part of a team with other department employees.
  • Must collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  • Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Must perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workloads.
  • Must have good organizational skills and be detail oriented.
  • Must be able to comprehend and perform duties using established work and safety procedures.
  • Must be able to learn and work effectively withing D365.

 

Education and Work Experience

  • 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Some experience in Excel is required.
  • Prior team leadership experience is preferred.
