BSC Vending Stock Clerk

Position title: BSC Vending Stock Clerk

Reports to: Store Manager/Deployment Coordinator

Supervises: N/A


Position summary:

This position is a BSC Vending Stock Clerk for our 4PL vending program. The person in this position will receive, store and issue materials, equipment and other items for stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. This person will also keep records and compile stock reports.


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer noting discrepancies for inventory adjustments.
  • Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or sales floor.
  • Responsible for NIS report.
  • Prepare all outgoing transfers or shipments.
  • Responsible for all NIS tags.
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Pack and Inventory deployment orders/bags if applicable.
  • Record and submit damaged items to manager for adjustment.
  • Proficient on POS system to assist customer if necessary.
  • Provide help or direction to other stockroom or warehouse workers.
  • Assist and prep for all inventories.
  • Conduct cycle counts.
  • Will drive cart to refill vending machines.
  • Counts Inventory and puts away stock.
  • Uses computer to update Excel spreadsheets and submit orders

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to read, write, interpret and follow instructions.
  • Ability to do basic math: add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and carry 40 pounds for minimum of 25 feet.
  • Must be able to bend, walk, stoop, climb and stand for 8 hours per day.
  • Inventory, Stocking, Excel Spreadsheets, Computer Skills.

Education and work experience:

  • High School graduate or equivalent GED.
  • Inventory/stock room experience preferred.
