Seam Sealer - Asheville

Summary Statement: Under the general supervision of the Sr. Sewing Supervisor, the person in this position is responsible for operating the seam sealer following all established work, quality and safety procedures.

Essential Job Functions

1. Properly seal all seams of the EWOL parker, assuring tape is centered over seams and no puckers/pleats are allowed to form.
2. Make repairs as apparent or as pointed out by supervisor, pressers or inspectors.
3. Follows vendor’s recommendations as to operation and maintenance of equipment.
4. Notify supervisor of any problems or concerns regarding product or procedures.

Marginal Job Functions

1. Assist other department personnel as time and knowledge permit.
2. Participate in training and meetings as requested.
3. Perform other duties as apparent or as assigned.

Working Conditions

1. Must be able to visually perform product inspections.
2. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
3. Must be able to work both planned and unplanned overtime.
