Receptionist/Admin Assistant - Asheville

 

Reports to:   Employee Relations Manager               

Supervises:  N/A

 

Summary Statement:   Under the general direction of the Employee Relations Manager, the person in this position is responsible for greeting visitors either by phone or in person as well as providing administrative support as requested.

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Greet visitors, determine the reason for visit and direct them accordingly.
  • Answer incoming calls, directing calls to the appropriate person.
  • Provide administrative assistance to as requested.
  • Assist CLVC on clinic days and provide backup to CLVC as scheduled.

 

Marginal Job Functions

  • Assist other personnel as time and knowledge permit.
  • Participate in training and meetings as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Must be able to work professionally as part of a team with other department employees.
  • Must be able to comprehend and perform duties using established work and safety procedures.
  • Must have strong phone and customer service skills.
  • Must have strong computer skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must have skills in using Microsoft Word and Excel.

 

Education and Work Experience

  • A minimum of one year’s experience in an administrative/reception position.
