Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must have the ability to read, write, and interpret verbal and written instructions
- Must have strong math skills with decimals, fractions, and percentages
- Must be able to measure and understand units of measurement in inches and/or millimeters
- Ability to interpret contract specifications, drawings, and purchase descriptions.
- Strong written and oral communication skills required.
- Must have experience with utilizing various measurement instruments and gages i.e., ruler, tape measure, calipers, micrometers, and weigh scales.
Education and work experience:
- High School graduate, GED or equivalent
- 1-3 years quality inspection experience preferred in quality control/assurance.
- Textile and apparel experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to bend, walk and stand for 8 hours per day.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
