Technical Program Manager - Electric Vehicle R&D Team

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our Electric Vehicle R&D team. The TPM will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating the development of our core electric vehicle products. This position requires a dynamic individual who can work closely with our team of engineers specializing in mechanical, systems, and control software development.

General Responsibilities: 

• Project Management: 
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and timelines.

• Team Coordination: 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, systems, and software engineers, to drive project success.

• Stakeholder Communication: 
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the engineering team and the EVP of R&D and SaaS, providing regular updates on project status and challenges.

• Risk Management: 
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and success.

• Process Improvement: 
  • Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications: 

• Strong understanding of mechanical, systems, and control software development.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Hands On Management Style, Exceptional Communication skills. Ability to work cross departmentally
• Proven track record of 5+ years in the automotive industry
• Digitally savvy. Able to quickly learn and work on a variety of digital platforms. The ability to train others on platforms.
• Ability to create process documentation including technical drawings.

Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in technical program management, preferably within the automotive or electric vehicle industry.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 systems is preferred
