Accounts Payable & Patient Transportation Coordinator Job Summary:

Here at BridgePoint Healthcare the Accounts Payable & Patient Transportation Coordinator coordinates with hospital staff to provide off-site transportation services to patients and residents, while researching and gathering the necessary insurance and billing information.  Also, will assist and support the Accounts Payable Specialist with the following task: Compiles and reviews Accounts Payable documents, responds to employee and vendor inquiries; and prepares and maintains accounts payable records and reports.  Assists vendors statement review, balance sheet reconciliations, and other accounting tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Licenses/Certification: N/A

Experience: 2 years of experience in office administration or accounts payable required and hospital or healthcare a plus.

Other Qualifications: Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines while remaining detail oriented, Experience with multi-company processing and knowledge of healthcare terminology is a plus. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
