Description:

The OB/Gyn Clinic RN/LPN provides nursing care to patients in our Women’s Clinic setting. They will assist with obstetric and gynecologic procedures, provide patient education, and, overall, be a clinical support to the providers. They will be vital in creating a positive patient experience by providing quick response time to questions, faster result notification, and be able to offer same day visits for many acute issues.

Responsibilities:

  • OB patient intakes and medical screening
  • Triage phone calls and call backs
  • Coordinate outgoing referrals, imaging and follow up as needed
  • Result call backs and counseling
  • Surgery counseling, pre and post-op follow up
  • Induction and c-section scheduling and counseling
  • Coordination with birth center-Childbirth education, lactation support, etc. for integrative patient care
  • Postpartum phone call follow-up/triage/assessment
  • Non-stress testing in the office
  • Assist with coordinating, prepping, and post care for in office procedures
  • Expanding clinic services – more in office procedures, LEEP hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, etc.

 

Qualifications

Qualification/Education/Requirements:

  • Current unencumbered RN/LPN license to practice in the State of Oregon
  • Healthcare Provider Level BLS
  • ACLS and NRP required within six months of hire
  • One year of experience preferred
